I don't care if i'm the bazillionth person to blog about it--Adam and I are hooked. So is Maureen, who calls the show either '7+2' or 'Mindless by Design'.
she still doesn't know what it's called.
Not only do we want to start tearing down walls and purchase furniture from parisian antique shops-as of yesterday, we want to have seven children and name them:
Raphael Buie
Brad-Pitt Buie
Angelina-Jolie Buie
Spacebar Buie
Captain Buie
Ajax Buie
&
Juicy Buie
Watch the show to see what we mean....
you'll LOVE it!

Back to Life. Back to Reality.
I was anxious to come home, look at all my weddings pics and get back to REALITY--tho I feel I have neglected this poor blog, and hope to make it up to you with all of these lovelies I have discovered and saved in my inbox over the past little while:

My not-so-new favorite blog oh, hello friend makes me want to hibernate in my windowless bedroom for days and wrap little pretties such as these. Creepy? No, Crafty.

Now I don't know if I would wear a flower the size of Australia on my shirt, but these (not-so-little) gems make me want to re-do my engagements, AND would make my body look really tiny. Thank you, Emerson Made. You are like J Crew on steroids.

In my next life i'm going to be a seamstress/upholsterer (is that a word?) and spend my days making my own clothes and covering old furniture with the most beautiful life-altering fabrics one could ever lay their eyes on. For now, I would just like to purchase this ever-so-lovely couch from here.

I wanted to use this idea for my own wedding-but thought it was a little more shower-ish. Anybody getting married soon???
Something I can't live without is a CALENDAR. I bought this one on etsy last year, and love it-but not as much as I think I would love this one. Only $12 on overstock!

honeymoon

I cried almost the entire flight to Mexico-I just thought of our wedding the night before and cried cried cried. It was so wonderful. The girl next to me on the plane kept handing me tissues. (I'm sorry I embarrassed you Adam)
I was fine once we landed, and so our honeymoon began...
I loved cuddling you and kissing your cute dimple every night. I loved swimming with the sea turtles with you. I love playing lifeguard with you at night in the pool. I loved when you posed like a body builder. I loved riding the scooter all over Isla de Mujeres with you. I loved that it poured rain all over us. I loved how after introducing yourself to every Mexican, they all asked if my name was "Eve". I love that you wouldn't let me buy the $6 dollar haribo gummy bears. I love that we yelled in the echo-dome in the Houston airport. I love that one day you decided from that day forward you would just call me "sexy". I love that you speak spanish, and I love that my favorite part of the whole honeymoon was cuddling with you and watching iron chef.
I loved our luna de miel and I love being your wifey.
xo,
Sexy.

There are toooo many things I love about this kitchen.
First-the brick. 'nuff said.
Second-the white kitchen Aid. Everyone has rainbow colored kitchen-aids, and sometimes I get a little bit jealous because mine is white--but I still love it, and I get so excited when I see great kitchens with WHITE kitchen aids. Woot Woot!
Third-the gumball machine. I WILL, I repeat, I WILL have a gumball machine in my kitchen one day.
Fourth-the chalkboard pantry doors. I love this because it is EASY to do. Even though chalk dust makes me sneeze like there's no tomorrow--I would suck it up cuz my kitchen would be damn cute.
And lastly, The island. I think the idea of painting the base is a super cool idea.
Too bad we don't have an island.
Too bad our apartment is the size of that island.
I've always told Adam I could live on a pile of manure with him and be happy.
But this kitchen wouldn't hurt....

sohomode. These clothes remind me of something Juliette Binoche would have worn in Chocolat, one of my favorite movies. Vintage inspired clothing for the modern eccentric....ooh lala.
I would only speak french while wearing these gems.

I love hobnail. I could just eat it. And i'm proud of myself--I didn't start obsessing over it because everyone else and their dog was blogging about it-I found it BY. MY. SELF. This wedding gift would make me do back flips to San Diego and back. Please oh Please anybody out there, I will make you endless cakes and tarts and hosts birthday parties for dayzzz for you if you purchase this ever-so-lovely cake stand for me. And when i'm not baking, I will use it as : a. a candle holder.
b. a seat for when i'm tired.
c. a dumbell.
d. a small dinner table for 2.

I Wanna go to Summer Camp.
Posted by
Erin Lee
Just so I can use THIS!So lets get something straight. I LOVE camping. LOVE IT. I love it so much in fact that one summer the BF and I pitched a tent in my parent's backyard and spent most summer nights out there. We even brought a TV, rented a ton of random movies we had never heard of, brought in food, lamps, tarot cards, you name it. OK-so I guess that doesn't count as camping, but I love roughin' it just as much. I guess I just love tents. I think they are soooo cozy, and you can bet your sweet bum I was makin' forts all the time in our living room growing up. This also reminds me of a Story. When Emily and I were in Highschool, we wanted to be camp counselors SO BAD. But it had to be somewhere cool-like on the East Coast, or somewhere that has those cool docks on the lake where there is always mist around it in the morning, ya know? Somewhere very Parent Trap-ish. So we were dead serious and started researching Summer Camps all over the U.S. of A. We found this one in Maine, called them up, and got a recording to a place called, "Camp Mumba-woo-Jumba". Or something like that. It was hilarious. We never did pursue our dreams of being camp counselors, but it is something i've always regreted. Anyway, I love this stationary oh-so-much. Maybe somehow I can make these my invitations and have a camp-themed-wedding. ooohhhh...don't get me started...
